Removing the rattle from under an American car hood |
Replacing environmentally unacceptable mercury with a loose ball bearing in an under-bonnet light switch was a simple modification; unfortunately, a major automotive supplier was faced with the problem of a rattle from the device. David Cockayne simply introduced a slight conical taper to the inside diameter of the tube so that when the bonnet was closed the ball bearing locked itself into the taper, preventing it from moving. |
| The solution may have been simple - but even the skilled technical brains, and there was a good deal available to this well known manufacturer, had not thought of it. If you have a problem that your scratching your head over and your engineers cant solve, give David Cockayne a call, the first meeting is free of obligation and charge, what can you loose? |
